GO BEYOND – Charity Donation

Product Details

Thank you so much for considering to give a small donation to GO BEYOND. They do a wonderful job, and for every £1 you donate, The Empty Box Company will match fund it.

GO BEYOND is a charity giving children who have been bereaved, abused or bullied, who are living in poverty or caring for loved ones the chance to escape their worries and pressures through breaks in the countryside & seaside.

GO BEYOND runs centres in Cornwall (in Par, quite near to The Empty Box Company) and Derbyshire which provide lots of wide-open space for children to run, play and explore.

Go Beyond Breaks

The children experience wide-open skies in the countryside & coast, with GO BEYOND’s expert staff and committed volunteers giving children and young people the chance to have the moments and experiences they need to believe in themselves and think beyond the day-to-day for a bigger, brighter future.

From splashing in the river in their wellies to braving the dizzying heights of a rock-climbing wall, each break is packed with activities intended to encourage self-belief and inspire adventure.

By getting out and getting involved, GO BEYOND’s biggest hope is for each child to go home knowing they can achieve more than they ever thought possible, inspired by what the world can offer them, and what they in turn can offer the world. As always, this wouldn’t be possible without wonderful supporters, volunteers, patrons and whole GO BEYOND team and your donations.

When we went to visit GO BEYOND it was just before the arrival of their first week’s children in early March. There was a lot of painting and decorating, training and organising going on, but a wonderful atmosphere and some amazing committed people, helping 1,200 children per year to rediscover their childhood, be it only for the week they stay with GO BEYOND. Every penny helps to fund a child’s holiday so please help if you can! Thank you.
