The popular ITV drama series “Mr Selfridge” has captivated audiences with Edwardian flamboyance & flair. The Empty Box Company was delighted to make 100 Edwardian Hat Boxes for the series; look out for them Sunday at 9pm, they are white with green ribbon! It was most exciting to see them piled high in the foyer of Selfridges as Mr Selfridge gave a pep talk to his staff before the grand opening. They are also dotted about the ladies accessories department. The Empty Box Company originally decided to revive the Edwardian Era of beautiful Boxes by creating exquisite Hat Boxes & Dress Boxes for special items of clothing, and it is wonderful to see the boxes in such a perfect period drama setting.
